A round mountain home perched at 4,200 feet, where a wall of windows and wraparound decks open to long-range ridgelines and sunrise over the Blue Ridge.

The Home

An architecturally distinctive round home

Viewfinder is our round mountain home on Beech Mountain, the highest town in the eastern United States. Its circular design and wall of windows bring the landscape inside, while multi-level decks and a hot tub open those same views even wider. It is a home we use and love ourselves, cared for the way you would care for a friend's mountain house.

The location puts you minutes from skiing and snowboarding in winter, and cool-weather hiking, mountain biking and fall color the rest of the year, with Banner Elk, Grandfather Mountain, Boone, Linville and the Blue Ridge Parkway all an easy drive away.

The views face the sunrise, and we still set an alarm for it every visit. It is worth getting out of bed for, every time. From the owners
